A dark country ballad that captures love, memory, and spiritual release.  This song is drawn from real moments—the final days I spent with my father. "No Kings Here" is a modern folk-rock anthem rooted in Western tradition — a call to remember the founding principles of liberty, equality, and peaceful resistance. In a time of division and noise, this song stands as a reminder that the Constitution belongs to the people — not to power. Inspired by the enduring words "We the People," and reflecting on moments like Kent State and today’s unrest, this track weaves rock grit with acoustic roots to honor forgiveness, truth, and freedom’s quiet strength. 🎵 Written by: Ken Gfeller
🌹 A Rose from Heaven This song is for my mother — who passed long ago, but whose love still blooms in my heart. Sometimes, Heaven speaks through the smallest things… like a single rose, a quiet memory, or the warmth of a familiar voice in your soul.  I wrote this piece as a tribute — not just to her, but to anyone who carries the memory of someone they love and miss deeply. The music is simple, the words are honest, and the images tell the story of love that never really leaves us.
Glass Palace in the Sky 🎵 Original Song by Ken Gfeller | Ken & The Hollow Wind Band  “Glass Palace in the Sky” is a heartfelt folk-pop tribute to enduring friendship, generosity, and the quiet beauty of a home above the city lights. Inspired by dear friends who live in a glass-walled apartment high above the skyline, this song celebrates their warmth, adventurous spirit, and the sanctuary they’ve created—a true palace of kindness and light.
🎵 The Fortress We Keep – Folk-Blues Original | Ken & The Hollow Wind Band  “The Fortress We Keep” is a haunting folk-blues ballad that explores the emotional burden of hoarding — not just of objects, but of memories, pain, and stories left untold. This original song blends acoustic storytelling with meaningful lyrics and emotional male vocals.  Through the lens of cluttered rooms and broken swans, we witness a quiet portrait of isolation and healing. It’s a song about mental health, nostalgia, and the fragile walls we build around ourselves.  If you’re drawn to singer-songwriter music with soul and purpose, you’ll feel right at home here.
🎵 Standing in the Shadows – Ken Gfeller “The ones who hold us up... stand in the shadows.”  This heartfelt folk-blues ballad honors the unseen — the quiet heroes who pray, support, and serve without applause. Through rich acoustic storytelling, Standing in the Shadows celebrates faith lived in silence, hands that heal, and lives guided by grace. These are the ones Heaven knows by heart.  🎧 Listen and reflect. Share it with someone who’s walked beside you — even when no one else noticed.
🎵 The Quiet Hum of G is a contemplative acoustic journey built around the simple resonance of a single chord. Rooted in folk and blues traditions, this piece invites the listener into a space of stillness—where music breathes, time slows, and the heart finds quiet.  Crafted with care on acoustic guitar, it captures the sound of reflection—like a warm breeze through an open window, or the hush between thoughts. This is music for quiet mornings, late-night journaling, prayerful moments, or simply being present.  Whether you're a fan of fingerstyle playing, ambient folk, or emotionally rich instrumentals, this track is meant to bring peace and presence into your day.
